First and foremost, we would like to thank for your continuous support in making VICCI a huge success over the last several years. It is at this time that we would like to formally announce that VICCI has decided to close her doors after 4 years of memorable nights. Over the years, VICCI has received many awards and recognitions that will keep her memory alive and in our hearts forever. In addition, to being voted nationally, as one of the Top 100 Nightclubs in America by Nightclub and Bar Magazine, she was also recognized locally by Austin CitySearch as the Best Dance Club in Austin, and the Best Pick-Up Bar by Austin 360.com. VICCI and her ever-changing versatility has been hostess to many events from concerts, to fundraisers to fashion shows.

VICCI has housed many talented artists, such as the PussyCat Dolls, Blue October, DJ AM , Mickey Avalon, Digital Underground, Tone Loc, Pittsburgh Slim, Li’l Wayne, Schwayze, RZA, DJ Skribble and Slynkee, Gary Pine, Kevin Rudolph, White Tie Affair, and Brandy.

VICCI has also lent a helpful hand to many seeking aid in their causes. Some fund raisers that have taken place at VICCI were Tabasco Fest ’07 and ’08 benefiting the ASPCA of Austin and Town Lake Animal Shelter, and Fight Night: College Edition, in which door proceeds went to help build a house for Habitat for Humanity.

VICCI was also know as the fashion-show central of Austin, helping many young designers come into their own by giving them a venue in which to display their masterful creations. Designers like Kim Jacques of DeVushka, and fashion showcase specialists like Pineapple Culture and STILO.

So, as VICCI is gone, but not forgotten, we would like, once again to thank you for your continued patronage and invite you to join us in our nightly celebrations at any one of our other 6 venues: Pure Ultra Lounge, QUA Bottle Lounge, MALAIA World Lounge, Spill Martini Bar, Treasure Island Pirate Bar, and Fuel Nightclub.

In addition, we would like to take this opportunity to announce the newest addition to our family of nightclubs: KISS & FLY, the largest gay nightclub in Austin, where waiting in line will be a thing of the past! Coming soon to 404 Colorado in Spring of 2009!
